Mowakaba: up to 90% of your digitalisation funded by the Moroccan state
The first obstacle to digitalising a small business is neither technology nor time: it is budget. A public programme exists precisely to remove that obstacle — and it remains surprisingly little known.

Mowakaba, in a nutshell
Mowakaba — “accompaniment” in Arabic — is the programme run by the public agency Maroc PME to support the transformation of Moroccan micro, small and medium enterprises. Its digitalisation track subsidises the acquisition of digital tools: management software, invoicing, online presence.
In practice, per the programme's official pages: the agency covers 90% of the cost for a very small business and 80% for an SME, within the limits set by the programme — ceilings and terms are confirmed by Maroc PME while processing the application.
What it changes, on a real example
Take a concrete case from our public pricing grid: a one-year subscription to a Pro-tier management tool, paid upfront, with its setup, comes to 17 058 MAD excl. VAT.
Once the subsidy is applied, the indicative amount left to pay sits between 1 700 and 3 400 MAD. In other words: the tool that structures your quotes, invoices and collections for a year costs roughly the price of an entry-level phone.
Who qualifies
The criteria displayed by Maroc PME outline the target:
- an industrial company, or one operating in an industry-linked activity — logistics and freight forwarding serving industry typically qualify;
- on the micro-enterprise side: in start-up or scale-up phase; on the SME side: turnover up to 200 million dirhams;
- an application filed on Maroc PME's official application portal — the agency decides eligibility.
An honest caveat
Final eligibility is decided by the public agency, not by your provider. Beware of anyone who “guarantees” you the subsidy: nobody can. What we do guarantee is a well-prepared application and a quote presented with and without the subsidy.
What can be funded
The programme covers digitalisation expenses in the broad sense: business software (sales management, invoicing, file tracking), building an online presence, assistance with rollout. Our offers fit naturally — whether a management tool, a solution for freight forwarders or a professional website.
The programme's budget is allocated per fiscal year: an application filed early in the year mechanically stands a better chance than one filed when the envelope runs out. If this concerns you, the right time to look into it is now, not “when we have time”.
How it works with us
We do not just hand you a brochure. Our method: first, a priced simulation built together — your project, the real amounts, the estimated remainder. Then every quote is presented with and without the subsidy, so the decision stays yours even if the application were to fail. Finally, we prepare the application documents with you, filed on the official Maroc PME portal.
Subject to your company's eligibility for the programme — that sentence appears on our grid and it is not decorative: it is the rule of the game, and we prefer to tell you beforehand.
Your project may be fundable
Fifteen minutes are enough for a first simulation: your situation, your project, the estimated amount left to pay.
